Clean specification implies that the expectation of the various consumers of the specification document is indeed satisfied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Properties of a good specification document are,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Lack of ambiguity \u2013 That there is only one possible interpretation for each specification<\/li><li>Conciseness \u2013 Minimal number of words used, and presented in a distinct visual form (not embedded in a paragraph of explanatory information)<\/li><li>Completeness \u2013 The specification contains all requirements known to date<\/li><li>Consistency \u2013 There are no conflicting specification<\/li><li>A trace to origin \u2013 The source\/origin of each requirement is identified. \u00a0It may have evolved from a more general requirement, result from a conversation with a user, result from adoption of a standard, or adhering to new regulation.<\/li><li>Organized into logical meaningful groups<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A good specification is the one that is easily implementable and meets the consumer\u2019s business objective.
