{"id":104,"date":"2019-12-24T05:48:57","date_gmt":"2019-12-24T05:48:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stagsoftware.com\/hbtcentral\/?p=104"},"modified":"2019-12-24T05:48:59","modified_gmt":"2019-12-24T05:48:59","slug":"assessing-requirement-completeness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stagsoftware.com\/hbtcentral\/assessing-requirement-completeness\/","title":{"rendered":"Assessing requirement completeness"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The goal of requirements evaluation is to seek out and correct problems before resources are committed to implementing the requirements.&nbsp;It is concerned with examining the requirements to certify that they meet the stakeholders\u2019 intentions, and to ensure that they define the right system, the essence of the agreement and understandings between developer and acquirer about what to build, in a manner that ensures a common understanding across the project team and among the stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attributes that need to be look for when assessing a requirement specification are,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Complete \u2013 All that is needed is indeed described<\/li><li>Unambiguous \u2013 That there is no scope for making assumptions<\/li><li>Testable \u2013 That it is clean what \u2018Correctness\u2019 is<\/li><li>Consistent \u2013 That the similar behaviors, looks &amp; feel, usage are uniform<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>A testable requirement simply means that it is an unambiguously possible to state whether it failed all passed after executing it.
