{"id":228,"date":"2019-12-24T07:13:39","date_gmt":"2019-12-24T07:13:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stagsoftware.com\/hbtcentral\/?p=228"},"modified":"2023-07-14T05:22:13","modified_gmt":"2023-07-13T23:52:13","slug":"test-design-in-agile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stagsoftware.com\/hbtcentral\/test-design-in-agile\/","title":{"rendered":"Test design in Agile"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In HyBIST, the test design comments with identifying the level for which the\u00a0 tests to be conducted and the identifying the entities at each level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As mentioned above in agile context, we consider FOUR types of entities for test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E1 \u2013 A user story<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E2 \u2013 A Collection of user stories<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E3 \u2013 A usage flow that constitutes a set of user stories<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E4 \u2013 Set of user stories across releases\/sprints\/epics \u2013 bigger flow<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The basic user story (E1) may be made up of a set of screens, APIs or command line which accepts inputs and hence level 1,2,3 as well as basic behavior (L4) of the end user also is applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A set of user stories form an epic, for which behavior correctness (L4) is indeed applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A set of user stories that form a flow (E3) has to be checked for flow correctness and attributes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The higher order entities (E3\/E4) consisting of aggregation of user stories which can be within the sprint or across the sprint make bigger flows.
