Test Scoping is about identifying “what parts of the product/application” we have to test and “what types of tests we have to do”.
In real life there may be multiple teams who are involved in validation. Hence each team will have to identify their scope of work. i.e. what types of test do they have to do on what parts of the product/application?
Test cycle is the point of time wherein the build is validated.
It takes multiple test cycles to validate a product. Each test cycle should have a clear scope.
Scope of a cycle =What features will be tested & what tests will be done.
